What is the advantage of Built up flexface letters over Profile 4?
Built up flexface letters are used at the latest when the required height of the letters exceeds the maximum size of acrylic glass panels. The fabric-reinforced, translucent PVC tarpaulin can be stretched over a logo or letters up to a maximum width of 5 m without visible weld seams. In contrast to acrylic glass, it can also be exposed to higher wind loads.
How long do stretched fabric letters usually last?
Cloth letters differ only slightly from classic built up letters and can be compared with profile 4 letters. Instead of the translucent acrylic glass pane as the front cover, a fabric-reinforced, translucent PVC tarpaulin is used for the Built up flexface letter. The durability is therefore no different from the classic built up letters.
Can the LED illumination be changed?
Yes, as with all built up letters, the LED modules can also be replaced on Built up flexface letters. The tensioned PVC banner can be opened for inspection. However, LED or transformer replacement, repair, maintenance and cleaning work on signs systems must always be carried out by trained specialist personnel.
