Properties.
Illuminated letters in profile 5S (some also call it profile 6) are frameless front lights. The acrylic glass front is screwed to the lower housing using clear retaining bars on the back or a solid acrylic glass plate. This ensures uniform illumination of the acrylic glass front right up to the edge of the letter.
The design also allows larger letter heights to be produced.
