Properties.
The base material for our 3D prints are polyactides (PLA for short), which are polyesters. They are used to make our filament, which is obtained from renewable sources such as corn starch, making it a biocompatible raw material.
Our filament is a so-called PLA blend in order to achieve the desired strength and heat resistance. However, the lignin fibers used are also a natural raw material.
