Hoffschmidt Lichtwerbung GmbH from Lage/Lippe has been part of the ROSEN Group since April 1 (no, not an April Fool's joke). The takeover by ROSEN took place as part of a company succession, as the owner and previous managing director Volker Hoffschmidt wants to withdraw from the illuminated advertising sector. The production site in Lage will remain fully operational as an independent company and will continue to be managed by the experienced operations manager Sascha Salthammer. Joachim Heils will act as managing director.

The managing partners of ROSEN Lichtwerbung GmbH, Thomas Berens and Joachim Heils, and the shareholders of MB Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, Dr. Peter Friggemann and Tim Friggemann, see the acquisition as an ideal opportunity to fulfill two important criteria in order to continue to operate successfully on the market.

On the one hand, the acquisition of Hoffschmidt Lichtwerbung GmbH will expand the company's own production capacities in the short term in order to further reduce production and delivery bottlenecks. On the other hand, the product portfolio of ROSEN Lichtwerbung is being expanded to include products (e.g. standardized illuminated banners) that were previously not produced in-house but were repeatedly requested by customers.

In addition to the growth in the ROSEN Group, plans are already underway in Bad Bentheim to create an additional production area in the near future in order to optimize operating processes and create opportunities for further organic growth.

How does the light advertiser benefit?

For the customers of both companies, the cooperation offers a clear advantage: for a project that requires products from both companies, there will in future be one contact person who will oversee a project from the submission of the offer to the delivery of the finished illuminated advertising system. Although the focus of production - classic LED profile letters and typoLITE® acrylic chandeliers in Bad Bentheim, advertising systems in Lage - will remain the same, the tracking of the project and in particular the monitoring of the delivery date, which is always critical in our industry, will remain in one hand.
