For the reliable and efficient delivery of our products, we are looking for a dispatcher (m/f/d) to take over responsibility for the planning and coordination of our delivery tours as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
Dispatching and route planning
Independent planning and organization of delivery tours for our products and illuminated advertising systems in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux and Scandinavia.
Use of vehicles and resources
Coordination of available means of transportation and resources (trucks, forwarding agents, drivers) and their efficient allocation.
Appointment coordination
Ensuring that our products are delivered on time, taking into account specific customer requirements.
Communication with customers and partners
Close cooperation with our customers and external logistics partners to clarify delivery dates and possible changes
Monitoring the transportation process
Checking the transport status, solving problems if necessary and coordinating with the drivers to avoid delays and disruptions
Creation of delivery bills and documentation
Responsibility for creating and managing the necessary documents such as delivery bills, freight documents and customs documents
Optimization of logistics processes
Continuous analysis of scheduling processes and identification of potential improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Your profile:
Training and experience
Completed commercial training, ideally in logistics, freight forwarding or a comparable qualification. Professional experience in transportation planning, ideally in an international environment, is desirable
Knowledge of international logistics
Good knowledge of the planning and execution of international transportation within Europe, including legal and customs regulations
Skills in route planning
A firm understanding of how to optimize delivery routes, taking into account factors such as delivery times, road conditions and costs
Organizational talent and independence
You work independently and in a structured manner, have a good sense of priorities and keep an overview even in stressful situations
Communication skills
Strong communication skills and enjoy working with international customers and service providers
Language skills
Good to very good written and spoken German, knowledge of English is an advantage, further language skills (e.g. Dutch) are welcome
IT skills
Confident handling of common MS Office applications and ideally experience in dealing with scheduling software and merchandise management systems
